God Spoke the Stars!

“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. All things were created through Him, and apart from Him not one thing was created that has been created.” John 1:1-5

In Genesis it says that God spoke, and every time God spoke, a part of creation came into being. Louie Giglio said, “God was the ‘Star Speaking God.’” God is the one who speaks and there is light in the darkness. God speaks and there is life where there was nothing. The Bible tells us that God spoke and in nothing there was something. God speaks stars and planets, universes and molecules into existence. God speaks and things come to be. His voice is powerful. His voice is revelation. In everything, His voice speaks and creates. He reveals something about Himself to us.

John Chapter One tells us that God’s greatest Word, the greatest Word He ever spoke, He spoke Himself. “You shall call His name Emmanuel, God with us.” His disciples asked one day to see the Father. Jesus said, “If you have seen me, you have seen the Father.”

Jesus is the voice of God, revealing Himself to us. The Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, points to Jesus. Jesus is the Word of God to us revealed in the Bible. He is the true Gospel of God revealing to us everything we want to know. When God speaks, things happen. That is the revolutionary power of the Gospel, the Word of God, which changes everything to the good. It is the power that made Christianity great.
