About Us Children
First Baptist Church is a place where kids are meant to have fun! God's love and purpose for children is something we are excited about, and don't mind showing it. Our hope is to better equip parents to be spiritual leaders for their children all the while strenthening each and every child in their understanding and appreciation of Jesus Christ. Each year produces a bunch of seasonal events for our kids! Parents can expect summer activities to include things like Vacation Bible School, Connection Camp (2nd - 5th), and Zia Sports Camp.
In the fall families can participate in Upward football and cheerleading, with basketball taking place in the winter months. Upward is our most successful program here in terms of full family involvement. Artesia loves Upward!
Whether it is sports, music or missions, FBC Artesia wants to engage your child withe the exciting news of hope and purpose through Jesus Christ. Make it a point to swing by on Sunday mornings or through the week to say hello and learn more!
