Welcome to First Baptist Church of Artesia, NM!  

It has been my privilege to be Senior Pastor for over 15 years. During the those years I have witnessed a lot of changes, ups and downs, but whatever the challenge First Baptist has risen to it with a willingness to risk change if it meant caring for people. We are a church family that loves people and would like the chance to be your church home. We live in an ever changing world with families that need all the help they can get. This is at the center of all we do, helping families to be all that they can be with Jesus help. We are a church that strives to truly "be the church" for families, our city and our world.  We have a great staff that are willing to meet people at their point of their need. First Baptist is an exciting place to be!  

Every church has a history, but First Baptist has a future - the best is yet to come!  I hope you will be a part of it. That is my prayer for you!
